Keeping in Touch with Your Clients Post-AEP

The rush is over, and things have finally started to slow down! AEP is every insurance agent’s busiest time of year, and we know how tired you must be, but there is one thing that is important to remember: you must keep in touch with your clients all year round!

A Thoughtful Note

Send them a thank you for their business, handwritten or printed, note. They will appreciate the sentiment and that you thought of them even after the sale and interaction during the AEP. There are several different resources to find thank you cards, you can even find them in bulk on Amazon!

Give Them a Call

Check in with your clients to make sure they received their policy cards, inquire about how their insurance is working so far, and remind them to set their first appointment of the year! By calling and checking on your clients, you also give them an opportunity to ask you any questions they may have come up with since their last appointment with you.

Social Media

Social media is a great way to keep in touch with your clients and maintain a presence in their lives. This doesn’t have to be your personal profile, but a business page! By using your social media and posting meaningful content for you clients, you can stay at the top of their mind all throughout the year.

Promote Yourself

Promotional items are another way to make sure your clients don’t forget about you. Did you know 88% of promotional product recipients remember the name of the advertiser on the products? This means you can make your mark and maintain your presence without any verbal communication.
