We are pleased to announce some minor changes to our 2021 Individual and Family Business Retention Bonus program.
For the Nebraska markets we will be changing the amounts distributed. For the Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin
and North Dakota markets, we will be adding an additional bonus program specifically for the SEP period.
The program details for Iowa and Nebraska are as follows:
- Eligible Agencies are those that are appointed with Medica, are Exchange Certified for 2021, have a total of 125 total individual active members enrolled in one of Medica’s ACA products on May 16, 2021, and are identified as the Agent of Record (AOR) by the Exchange.
- Note: Exchanges are considered the source-of-truth for AOR association.
- An ‘Active Member’ Roster will be pulled on Monday, May 16, 2021
- Note: Active Members are members that have successfully fulfilled their binder payment obligation and who have not been terminated for any reason including nonpayment of premium.
- Eligible agencies will receive a one-time bonus payment for every active member.
- Nebraska: $50 (This amount was previously $35)
- Iowa: $70
- Eligible FMO’s will receive a one-time bonus payment for every ‘Active Member’ where an aligned broker is listed as the AOR. Alignment of the broker to the FMO will be identified as of 1/1/2021.
- Nebraska and Iowa: $25
- All payments will be distributed to the appropriate FMO. Each FMO will assume the responsibility of distributing earned bonus dollars to individual agencies.
- Medica will make every effort to distribute the payments prior to the end of June, 2021.
- FMOs are expected to communicate the terms of this program to their aligned agencies.
The new program details for Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Wisconsin, and North Dakota are as follows:
- For members with a new effective date of March, April, May and June eligible agencies will receive a one-time bonus payment for every ‘Active Member’ where the broker is listed as the AOR.
- MO, KS, OK: $150
- WI, ND: $50
payment for every ‘Active Member’ where the broker is listed as the AOR.
- MO, KS, OK, WI, ND: $25
